Clackmannanshire Council Local Development Plan – Call for Ideas

Overview

Clackmannanshire Council has begun preparation of its new Local Development Plan (LDP).

The LDP will set out a long term vision for how land in Clackmannanshire is used, developed and protected over the next 20 years. It will shape decisions on where new housing, transport infrastructure, green spaces and spaces for play are located across our county.

Why your views matter

We want to hear from as many people as possible — including residents, community groups, landowners, developers, agents and businesses — before we prepare the proposed plan.

This consultation is your opportunity to influence what goes into the new LDP at an early stage.

All submissions received will be carefully considered by the Planning Team. They will help inform the preparation of the proposed LDP, which will be subject to its own full public consultation before being submitted for independent examination.

Please note: Submitting an idea does not guarantee it will be included in the new LDP. All submissions will be assessed against relevant planning policies, including National Planning Framework 4 (NPF4), before any decisions are taken about what the proposed plan should contain.

Call for Ideas

If you own, manage, or have an interest in land, transport, or blue and green infrastructure that you believe should be considered in the new LDP, we want to hear from you.

Submissions might include proposals for:

• Housing (including affordable housing and self-build plots)
• Transport routes
• Blue and green infrastructure (including spaces for biodiversity and open space and play)

You should provide as much information as possible about the sites and/or routes.
