Council agreed at its meeting in August to develop local guidelines for relations between councillors and employees based on the Councillors' Code of Conduct and, in particular, the Protocol for Relations Between Coucillors & Employees which that Code sets out. (The Code of Conduct, which includes as an Appendix the Protocol is attached below for reference.)
