A Place Plan for Alloa Town Centre

Closed 30 Apr 2019

Opened 11 Feb 2019

Clackmannanshire Council is proposing to prepare a Place Plan for Alloa Town Centre to help shape the future role and purpose of the town centre.

A place plan will be the first step in delivering real improvements to the town centre over the next 5 years and beyond, by guiding and informing future actions based on how the people who live in and use the town centre see it as a place to live, work and visit.

The Council is working in partnership with local stakeholders in the preparation of the Place Plan, including Alloa Community Council, CTSI and Alloa First.

Why We Are Consulting

Alloa Town Centre Place Plan, once prepared, will inform the Clackmannanshire Local Development Plan 1st Review. Local people are invited to contribute their thoughts on a variety of aspects of the town centre as a place in preparation of the Place Plan.

We are looking for views in the first instance on how the town centre affects a broad range of aspects of people's daily lives.

The survey is available online and in hard copy.

What Happens Next

Once people have shared their views, we will analyse your comments and look at how they might shape final plans. We aim to publish the results by the end of May 2019.
