Draft Pollinator Strategy 2024-29
Overview
Something is buzzing at Clackmannanshire Council!
We are now seeking feedback on our first Pollinator Strategy for 2024-2029.
Our strategy aims to cultivate a robust, thriving and diverse population of pollinators within Clackmannanshire by enhancing awareness of pollinators and ensuring that every department within the council integrates pollinator considerations into their operations, leading to an increase in the diversity and the abundance of pollinators.
Aligned with Clackmannanshire's net zero target, the strategy recognises nature's capacity for emissions absorption and biodiversity's pivotal role in climate resilience.
Why your views matter
The council is seeking the views of residents and other stakeholders to support the direction of the strategy and gather comments and ideas.
All of the information you provide will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Council's Privacy Notice.
This consultation should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
What happens next
A summary of feedback, including how we update the strategy in response to it, will be added to an appendix of a report that goes to Council towards the end of 2024, seeking approval of the Pollinator Strategy.
We will ensure that all responses are anonymous.
