Climate Change Strategy
Overview
Our Climate Change Strategy sets out a framework for action on climate change and achieving our targets of reaching net zero emissions by 2040 for the Council’s own operation and 2045 for the Clackmannanshire area.
It also outlines why net zero matters and summarises the science behind climate change.
The Strategy has been updated to reflect input from communities through five climate change forums that were held across Clackmannanshire from September 2022 to March 2023.
Why your views matter
Your input will shape the Climate Change Strategy and we will respond to all of the feedback that you provide in this consultation.
To be as transparent as possible, a summary of all of your feedback, including how we have updated the strategy in response to it, will be added to an appendix of a report that goes to Council seeking approval of the Climate Change Strategy.
We will also ensure that all of the responses are anonymous so you cannot be identified by your response despite it being in the public domain.
If you have any questions, please contact climatechange@clacks.gov.uk.
