Overview

We are updating our British Sign Language (BSL) Plan.

The current Clackmannanshire Council BSL Plan can be viewed from our wesbite, or the link at the bottom of this page.

Why your views matter

To help ensure our Plan reflects current priorities, we are asking BSL users and those who support them to share their views on the draft actions that we are proposing for our BSL Plan to help us meet the needs of the BSL community in Clackmannanshire over the next 6 years.

We also seek the views of anyone who has an interest in how Council functions can remove barriers for BSL users, including families and friends of BSL users, interpreters, employers and those wishing to learn BSL.

Please take a few minutes to comment where relevant to you.  Skip any parts that are not relevant to you or if you don't have any comment to make.

What happens next

Following the conclusion of this consultation, we will finalised the actions and insert them into a draft BSL Plan which will then be considered for approval by Council. Once approved, the plan will be published on our website in both English and BSL.
