Integration Joint Board Scheme
Overview
The Public Bodies (Joint working) (Scotland) Act 2014 ( the Act) placed a duty on Local Authorities and NHS Boards to arrange Integration Schemes for their area. An Integration Scheme is a legally binding agreement between a Local Authority (Council) and NHS Board that establishes an Integration Joint Board. The Integration Joint Board is then responsible for adult health and social care outcomes and promoting health and wellbeing for the people of Forth Valley.
The Integration Scheme must be reviewed every five years. Clackmannanshire Council, Falkirk Council, Stirling Council and NHS Forth Valley have taken on board the learning over the last 5 years of the existing Scheme and have proposed a draft revised Integration Scheme.
It is a statutory duty to consult on the Integration Scheme before submitting to Scottish Government for approval.
Why your views matter
Clackmannanshire & Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership seeks your views on how easy the proposed revised scheme is to read and understand, and invites any comments on the arrangements for operational management and clinical, care and professional governance.
Your feedback will help inform any further revisions to the Integration Scheme which will be presented to the Local Authorities and NHS Forth Valley for approval.
