CFSLA Lottery Priority Themes 2020

Closed 1 Oct 2020

Opened 2 Sep 2020

Overview

CFSLA is the payroll lottery for local authority staff in Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling.

If you play the staff lottery, did you know that you have helped us to help hundreds of local groups?

Each month, £2000 goes out in prize money to winners but over the 25 years we’ve been in existence, we have donated around £350,000 to community sports clubs, youth groups, special interest groups and charities to improve the welfare of people living in the three areas.

Clackmannanshire Council has kindly given us permission to use this platform to consult employees in all three areas.

(The platform is set up specifically for Clackmannanshire Council work and local areas so please don't be confused by any Clackmannanshire Council-specific terminology)

Why your views matter

Every year, the CFSLA committee agrees to make financial contributions towards community events or charitable activities which benefit people in need at Christmas.

This year, we want to make Christmas donations based on the priority issues employees feel the CFSLA should support financially.

In the past, we have made awards to help pay for Christmas presents for families on low incomes;   food for foodbanks; and to organised Christmas lunch events for people who wouldn’t otherwise be celebrating Christmas over lunch in company, for example.

There are always a lot of types of events and activity that we could choose to make a donation to.  This year, we’re asking employees of the three Local Authorities to help us choose by indicating what type of activity you think is the most important at Christmas 2020.
