Clackmannanshire LDP Main Issues Report 2020
Overview
Clackmannanshire Council's Local Developnment plan was adopted in August 2015 and is now due for review.
We are therefore seeking responses to the Local Development Plan (LDP) Main Issues Report, which sets out the issues which the review of the Local Development Plan will address.
The MIR has been prepared following a ‘Call for Sites and Issues’, between October 2017 and January 2018.
We are also seeking comments on the strategic environmental assessment Environmental Report.

Why your views matter
Consultation on the Proposed Local Development Plan Main Issues Report is in accordance with the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997, as amended by the Planning etc. (Scotland) Act 2006. Consultation on the Environmental Reports is in accordance with the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005.
What happens next
Following the conclusion of the consultation period, the Council will consider each representation and prepare a response. These will then inform the preparation of a Proposed Local Development Plan, which will require to be approved by Council before being consulted on. The Proposed LDP will set out the Council's proposed vision for future development in Clackmannanshire: the policies it wishes to adopt, and the sites and projects it wishes to promote and support.
