Rename Abercromby Nursery
Overview
The Scottish Government has made a commitment to provide 1140 hours of free Early Learning and Childcare for 3 and 4 year olds by 2020.
As part of the expansion plan Local Authorities have been phasing in 1140 hours in some settings. Clackmannanshire is no different and from August 2019 the current Abercromby Nursery will be offering 1140 hours to families.
Why your views matter
The new Tullibody South Campus is due to open in August 2019. The campus will include Abercromby Primary, St Bernadette’s RC Primary and the new nursery.
As the nursery will no longer be a nursery class and will be a standalone nursery we need a new name.
We are looking for your voice and your child’s voice on what the new nursery should be called.
We have collected the name options from staff, children and the local community.
This survey will only take a few minutes to complete.
What happens next
Once the consultation period ends we will look at the responses, and the name with the most votes will be announced as the new nursery name.
