Overview

Rent Increase Consultation 2016/17

In 2013 we carried out consultation on our 30 year business plan.  At this time we agreed the rent increase for the years 14/15, 15/16 and 16/17.  This was based on delivering your priorities.  For the period 2013 - 2018 the rent increases have been set to deliver:

  • 452 replacement roofs & 1300 wall upgrades (render)
  • 2300 new central heating systems
  • 100 new doors
  • 598 properties with new windows
  • 200 new kitchens
  • 3000 replacement bathrooms
  • 80 replacement door entry systems

This work is required to maintain the Scottish Quality Housing Standard for our houses.  At the end of 14/15 our compliance rate was 92.6%.

Some of the work we have completed since 2013 includes:

 

  • 2427 Bathroom replacements and upgrades
  • 1111 Central Heating systems
  • 112 Kitchen replacements
  • 415 Safe electrical upgrades

 
  • 370 stock condition surveys
  • 302 garden fence replacements
  • 154 door entry upgrades

 
  • 43 Roofs replaced
  • 71 houses Roughcasted
  • 116 Front door replacements
