Anti-bullying Policy Review

Closed 4 Feb 2019

Opened 21 Jan 2019

Overview

The Education Service is working closely with Scotland’s Anti-Bullying Service Respectme on updating the current anti-bullying policy for our schools and nurseries.

How we react and how we respond to bullying behaviour is key to reaching a successful outcome for everyone involved.

Why your views matter

Bullying of any kind is unacceptable and must be addressed quickly. The Education Service is always seeking to improve our systems and practice in dealing with bullying behaviour and parents and carers have a very important role to play in this.

Your values, attitudes and opinions are key to supporting strategies on how bullying is challenged, prevented and responded to in our schools and nurseries.

We want your voice and the voice of your children to be reflected in this updated policy.

This survey should only take about 5/10 minutes to complete.

What happens next

We will use the responses from this survey to identify what processes and practices need to be included in the policy when dealing with bullying behaviour in our schools and nurseries.

We will also use the information collated to inform parental involvement sessions on bullying to support you to help your children.
