Overview

Clackmannanshire Council share the same pattern of school holidays as Stirling and Falkirk Councils.

We are looking to align these with our other neighbouring Councils (whilst not moving away from the alignment with Falkirk and Stirling).

Why your views matter

We are looking for your views on changing the school holiday pattern, which would involve taking the last week off the summer break with pupils returning to school in the second week in August and having a 2 week October holiday.

If approved the changes will not be implemented until the start of school year 2022/23 as the date for the start of August team in 2021 has already been published.

This is a very short consultation and should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

What happens next

The results of this consultation will be reported to Clackmannashire Council's  People Committee to be held on 30 January 2020.
